Mobilized Canadian Support for the
Creation of the North American
Sustainable Consumption Alliance |
|
In order for North
American organizations to work more
collaboratively on sustainable consumption
issues the
North American Sustainable Consumption
Alliance (NASCA) was created in 2001. NASCA
serves as a forum for partners in Canada, US
and Mexico to facilitate the exchange of
information about sustainable consumption
across borders and among different sectors
of society (government, academia, business
and industry, NGOs).

Led the Design of the North American
Sustainable Consumption and
Production Database |
|
The
North American
Sustainable Consumption and Production
Database is an initiative of the
North American Sustainable Consumption
Alliance (NASCA). The database aims at
facilitating cooperation among organizations
in Canada, United States and Mexico that are
interested in promoting sustainable
consumption and production initiatives and
programs. The Database is also intended as a
resource for citizens to learn about
projects or initiatives that they can
support, join, or replicate in their own
community.
