Mobilized Canadian Support for the Creation of the North American Sustainable Consumption Alliance

In order for North American organizations to work more collaboratively on sustainable consumption issues the North American Sustainable Consumption Alliance (NASCA) was created in 2001. NASCA serves as a forum for partners in Canada, US and Mexico to facilitate the exchange of information about sustainable consumption across borders and among different sectors of society (government, academia, business and industry, NGOs).

Led the Design of the North American Sustainable Consumption and Production Database

The North American Sustainable Consumption and Production Database is an initiative of the North American Sustainable Consumption Alliance (NASCA). The database aims at facilitating cooperation among organizations in Canada, United States and Mexico that are interested in promoting sustainable consumption and production initiatives and programs.  The Database is also intended as a resource for citizens to learn about projects or initiatives that they can support, join, or replicate in their own community.
